Our Fees & Billing Policy
We are a private billing practice and aim to be open and clear about our consultation fees. Our standard fees are outlined below; however, charges may vary depending on the type, length, or complexity of your consultation. If you have any questions, our reception team will be happy to assist.
Please be aware of the following:
- Missed appointments or late cancellations
Appointments not attended, or cancelled with less than 2 hour’s notice, will incur a fee of $95+ per 15 minutes booked. Higher fees apply for extended hours, weekend, and public holiday appointments.
Outstanding fees must be settled before future appointments can be scheduled. This policy allows us to offer timely appointments to other patients and reduce wait times. - Extended hours, weekends & public holidays
Consultations before 8:00am, after 6:00pm, on weekends, or on public holidays attract a surcharge. - Additional services and procedures
Some consultations may involve extra services such as dressings, equipment use, or procedures (for example ECGs or pregnancy tests). These will attract additional charges where applicable. - Appointment length
We offer appointments of varying durations. If your consultation exceeds the time booked, fees will be adjusted to reflect the actual time taken. For example, a consultation booked for 15 minutes that extends to 22 minutes will be charged at the longer appointment rate. - Prescription policy
Our doctors do not prescribe Schedule 8, opiate, or benzodiazepine medications to patients they have not previously treated. - Bulk billing
Due to ongoing limitations in government funding, we are unable to routinely bulk bill Medicare or DVA patients. - Medicare & DVA rebates
Medicare rebates apply only to valid Medicare card holders. DVA rebates may differ and, in some cases, may be higher.
